Summary
The Apple Environment, Health & Safety team is seeking a highly skilled Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team. Our organization is dedicated to protecting the environment, health, and safety of our employees, contractors, customers, and the global communities where we operate. As a team leader, you will be instrumental in driving program development, implementation, incident review, and continuous improvement focused on supporting onsite work across our campuses in our Americas West Region.

The successful candidate will lead a team of self-starting professionals who ensure business groups receive a high level of service to meet or exceed all applicable EHS requirements. They must be passionate about solving problems, possess excellent organizational skills, and communicate effectively across technical disciplines. Additionally, they must have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results on time, taking ownership of issues and tasks with an appropriate sense of urgency, and making hard calls when needed.

Each day will be different. This position is responsible for leading a team of EHS professionals to provide EHS support, which includes:
Minimum Qualifications
At least 15 years of professional experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) with demonstrated EHS management experience.
BA/BS in Environment, Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related Engineering field.
Proven people manager who builds capabilities of individuals and teams through effective employee development, involvement, communication and coaching.
Ability to travel 10-15%
Preferred Qualifications
MS in Environment, Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Engineering field.
Nationally recognized professional credentials preferred (i.e., Board Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Professional Engineer (PE)) In-depth knowledge of California regulations, EHS standards, and best practices.
Experience in adapting to challenges, providing support, and guiding communications.
Strong leadership voice with skills in communication, organization, presentations, and project management.
Ability to build and maintain cross-functional partnerships and influence others.
Experience supporting research and development (R&D) labs.
Ability to handle confidential information discretely.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
