The HW Engineering Program Management Team is seeking a passionate and motivated Accessories Engineering Program Specialist (EPS) to oversee BOMs, budgets, finances, logistics, allocations, and product security. An Accessories EPS on our team must be an organized, detail-oriented collaborator with strong prioritization skills and excellent communication abilities. They must be self-motivated and a fearless driver, ready to work with the Engineering Program Management team and multifunctional engineering teams to manage the risks and requirements associated with the success of each engineering program build.
Description
Collaborate with engineering teams to Create part numbers and structure complex BOMs (Bills of Materials)
Maintain and complete material lists (DRP
Create, manage, and process Engineering Change Orders, Manufacturer Change Orders, and Deviations
Work on multiple projects concurrently
Collaborate with Program Managers, Finance, and multifunctional teams to lead development budgets
Create Purchase Requisitions and maintain Purchase Order invoice reconciliations, including Goods Receipts
Manage allocations, material schedules, deliverables, and logistics
Handle material shipments and logistics with internal teams and CMs
Plan and track NPI hardware allocations for engineering teams across multiple sites
Manage prototype hardware inventory and distribution
Oversee Apple security and safety product requirements
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of NPI program management (or consumer electronics industry related) experience related with budget, procurement, logistics, and overseas supplier/contract manufacturer management
BA/BS degree or industry experience
Knowledge of configuration management and BOM structuring (preferably for hardware products)
Proficient in MS Excel
Off-hour support required via email, phone or WebEx as needed
Proven track record of excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work onsite at Apple office
Preferred Qualifications
Have an understanding of complex Bills of Materials and documentation experience
Experience with PLM tools, Agile experience is preferred but not required
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a large cross-functional team
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, especially when managing multiple projects
Ability to react to re-sets and changes in a time sensitive and fast pace environment
BA/BS degree or industry experience
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $48.65 and $81.15/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
