Description

This is a hands-on design engineering position creating and integrating schematics, boards, and working with cross-functional teams to enable new technologies.

As a part of the iPad team, you will help with concept and feature development, rapid prototyping, production part selection, product integration and validation.

You’ll have the opportunity to travel to our contract manufacturing partners to support prototype builds and develop both the test and failure analysis procedures to ensure a high level of quality for the product.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent

  • 2+ years relevant industry experience designing electronics and/or embedded systems

  • Electrical engineering fundamentals including analog and digital design

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with high speed digital design

  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout

  • Hands-on lab experience with hardware bring-up and debug

  • Fundamentals of signal and power integrity

  • Understanding of low voltage power regulation solutions

  • Integration of hardware into multi-functional systems

  • Use of scripting languages to assist with hardware development

  • Familiarity with the challenges of taking a high volume product from design through to production

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Experience working with dynamic multi-functional teams

  • Experience with challenging and multi-disciplinary failure analysis
