Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Work with engineering team to develop the necessary hardware, including writing and approval of specification, schematic design and approval, placement, layout/routing, SIPI simulations, and approval for release to manufacturing. Craft and run silicon validation hardware programs and processes, including board design, specification and schematic approvals, factory builds. Define allocation requirements for critical silicon validation teams using technical understanding of system design and silicon validation planning in order to determine which hardware configurations will be required for each team, working with system teams to acquire the hardware necessary to execute silicon validation plans within tightly defined schedules. Drive Engineering Project Specialist in selection of contract manufacturer, sourcing of Apple-internal and off the shelf components and modules, issuing purchase orders, tracking delivery timelines. Report focused issues and communicating program risks and status while working with the PM team responsible for driving technical issue resolution to enable timely silicon to meet daring product schedules. Generate matrix to drive build execution at the contractor manufacturer that is focused on issue reporting and communication of program risks and status, in order to ensure that the delivery schedule meets the requirements of the different validation team. Attend and driving technical sessions with multi-functional teams to track and follow-up issues/escalations while working with engineering leadership to define silicon validation hardware roadmap for a specific silicon program. 40 hours/week.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

  • Experience and/or education must include:

  • Technical Program Management

  • SOC Design

  • Silicon Validation

  • System Validation

  • Project management

  • Mixed signal tools

  • Scripting Languages: Python

  • Electrical Circuit SPICE Simulation
