Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Build scalable and effective systems for serving deep learning models, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Jax. Build and optimize distributed training approaches for deep learning models on Machine Learning (ML) accelerators such as GPUs. Build software that improves the rate of experimentation and helps people make better decisions about what to try next. Train, evaluate, and debug deep learning models for complex tasks. Develop tools and services for understanding latest NLP/image models. Utilize Golang, K8s, docker, TensorRT, TensorRT-LLM, vLLM, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Jax, model compression, model quantization, model distillation, model inference etc. to perform the job duty. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600- $250,600/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Networking, Software Engineering, or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

• Utilizing TensorFlow for model training and optimizations.

• Utilizing GCP for model training and serving.

• Utilizing knowledge on distributed systems to build distributed ML infra and serve ML models

• Utilizing Model Inference to serve Machine Learning models.

• Utilizing online serving frameworks to build backend services to serve Machine Learning models.

• Utilizing CUDA to write efficient kernels to run models on GPU.

• Utilizing Docker and GCP to build infrastructures and analyze and evaluate ML models.
