Job Description
The R&D, Business Development and Alliances, Senior Financial Analyst assists with building R&D cost models used to evaluate external BD opportunities. This role regularly interacts cross-functionally with Business Development & Alliances, Search & Evaluation, Corporate BD Finance, and several other R&D functions to build accurate and timely models. Additionally, this role interacts with other R&D finance teams through LBE Key +/- reporting, monthly BD update meetings, and supporting projects post deal execution.
Responsibilities
Prepares R&D cost models for BD assessments, collaborating with cross functional contacts to collect model assumptions and cost estimates.
Assists Finance Manager with Monthly BD Update meetings by developing relevant content and presenting to finance leadership.
Completes monthly BD LBE Key +/- schedules for R&D FPA and Finance Leadership in collaboration with the Finance manager,
Maintains and distributes bi-weekly BD Deal Summary to R&D Finance VP and other finance leaders, in collaboration with Corporate BD Finance.
Develops “Reference Binders” detailing financial assumptions and forecasts that enables successful project review meetings and efficient transition of a deal into the business, upon deal execution.
Contributes to and/or lead post deal execution meetings with R&D Finance.
Manages multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Leads ad hoc analysis, projects and processes improvements as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
4+ years of progressive and related experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
Execute priorities established by Manager with speed and agility.
Strong financial, analytical and problem solving skills.
Proficient Excel skills required.
Knowledge of SAP and TM1 a plus.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.??

Salary: $82,500 - $157,500
