We are looking for an experienced and outcome-driven Embedded Quality Engineer to ensure that we deliver the best-in-class camera solution for iOS products! In this role, you will play a critical part in qualifying camera firmware and drivers, ensuring we ship a high-quality product that delights and inspires millions of Apple customers every day.

Description
In this role, you will:
- Independently drive and own testing of one or more camera features across platforms.
- Design test cases and implement test plans related to the functionality, performance, power, stability, and image quality of our camera solution.
- Develop automated tests and test tools on mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with development teams and multi-functional QA teams to triage, diagnose, and debug issues to determine the root cause.
- Identify trends and highlight potential risks.
Minimum Qualifications
BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.
3+ years of QA experience testing embedded system products.
Understanding of camera technologies, image signal processing (ISP) pipeline, 3A, video formats, and color space.
Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting language.
Experience developing system and feature-level test plans and test cases.
Experience developing automated tests supporting embedded systems or mobile devices.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with command-line operation of operating systems such as macOS or Unix/Linux.
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
Experience working on successful, large-volume consumer products.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
