Summary

WebKit is the open source browser engine that powers Safari, Mail, and many other applications across iOS, macOS, and visionOS. As a WebKit Test Integrity Engineer, you will work directly with WebKit and Safari teams to identify and resolve regressions as informed by test automation and improve WebKit's infrastructure for catching problems with automated testing.

Description

Our Continuous Integration team builds and maintains the tooling and infrastructure that enables WebKit engineers to safely make innovative changes to Web Technologies on Apple hardware.

We're looking for an engineer to build tools and processes to monitor build and test results at scale from continuous integration systems. You will own and build systems that generate bug reports, triage and manage resolution of problems identified through testing, and improve test stability, coverage, and throughput.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Unix-based systems

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of Python

  • Knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • BS degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of C++, Objective-C, Swift, or other compiled languages

  • Knowledge of software development tools like git, bash, make, and Xcode

  • Experience working with and contributing to large-scale open source software projects

  • Experience using continuous integration systems
