Description

Design & Implement: Build next-level Wi-Fi features across Apple products including iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV.

Integrate AI: Don't just build it — make it smarter. Teach our Wi-Fi to think for itself. Create smart internal systems that use AI to fix bugs faster, improve code quality and make day-to-day life more productive.

Ownership: Develop features across software stacks (Frameworks and API, UI, OS services, and drivers) - from concept to shipping and ensure they perform flawlessly for years.

Collaborate: Work alongside brilliant engineers from design, performance, security and privacy teams to make intelligent compromises.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent field

  • Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms

  • Experience developing software using Objective-C/Swift, or Java or C/C++ Deep understanding of operating systems including process, filesystems and memory management

  • Used AI to turn 'good' features into 'amazing' ones

  • Strong understanding of networking and TCP/IP suite of protocols

  • Hands-on development and troubleshooting expertise - e.g., GDB, shell scripting

  • Excellent communication skills and can clearly explain complex technical concepts to any audience

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent field

  • Experience developing libraries for inter-process communication

  • Knowledge of IEEE 802.11/Wi-Fi protocols and standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax)

  • Experience developing on Apple platforms (Xcode)

  • Experience with secure coding practices
