About Credit & Fraud Risk Finance
Credit & Fraud Risk (CFR) Finance team delivers fact-based, decision-driven and high-impact credit-risk related insights and deep analytics, PNL stress tests to support regulatory views and governance processes and the forecasting of Net Loss Provision. The key objective is to drive prudent financial decisions and support credit-risk strategies while ensuring adherence to governance and controls. This position will be part of a highly talented team with strong intellectual curiosity.
About The Vice President, Finance Models & Stress Test Platform
This position will deliver best in class models for the use in stress testing balance sheet forecasting, balancing sound modeling techniques, proper governance and controls. In this capacity, the VP will interact closely and lead key discussions with various committees such as MRMG (Model Risk Management Group), IAG (Internal Audit Group), MRC (Model Risk Committee) and CMC (Capital Management Committee) and be the face to regulators explaining our approach and controls. This role will also be responsible for creating and maintaining a robust and efficient forecasting and aggregation platform (TM1) working closely with our delivery team, for the technical delivery of Pre-Provision Net Revenue (PPNR)/Provision output to key stakeholders. This role is a critical member of the CFR Finance & AXP Stress Testing organizations and will work with key stakeholders to deliver stress testing results in regulatory and management forecasting exercises.
Impact You’ll Make
Lead and own Spend and Paydown model development that meet internal and regulatory standards for use in CCAR and other forecasting exercises
Ensure best in class and updated modeling techniques
Ensure stress testing models reflect underlying business dynamics and are linked to BAU business dynamics. We look to leverage the models to consider potential business impacts at times outside of CCAR timing.
Lead and own end-to-end stress test/ CCAR PNL Platform and partner with internal teams on final data delivery and data governance
Partner with VP Stress Test and other teams on developing comprehensive results analytics
Deepen partnerships with various Risk and Finance teams including Treasury, Enterprise and Business Units FP&A, Credit Officers etc.
What You’ll Bring
Deep Experience in Advanced Analytics and Big Data Models, Credit Risk experience preferred
Significant hands-on experience managing/ leading projects using large amounts of data and application of advanced predictive analytics
Proficiency in SQL, SAS, Hive required; Python, R preferred
Power BI or other visualization tools experience is strongly preferred
BS/MS in Mathematics, Computer Science and/or Finance

Qualifications
Salary Range: $185,000.00 to $260,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
