DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented CTP Maintenance Team Lead to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Ladson, SC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Leveraging Comprehensive Expertise – Applying deep technical knowledge to support manufacturing needs, ensuring efficient selection and use of tools, machinery, and equipment.

  • Championing Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Standards – Identifying and reporting hazards, using protective equipment, and fostering a proactive safety culture.

  • Upholding High-Quality Standards – Conducting inspections, performing failure analysis, and ensuring accuracy in documentation to minimize cost and quality exposures.

  • Driving Operational Excellence – Leading and coordinating maintenance activities, troubleshooting issues, and performing preventive, emergency, and corrective maintenance.

  • Guiding & Mentoring Team Members – Acting as a formal resource to support, instruct, and coach others, strengthening overall team capabilities.

  • Identifying & Solving Problems – Reducing manufacturing constraints, improving processes, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.

  • Maintaining an Organized Work Environment – Keeping workspaces clean and structured to ensure smooth operations and safety compliance.

  • Enhancing Team Collaboration & Development – Communicating effectively, engaging in training, and actively participating in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.

  • Commitment to Learning & Growth – Stay updated on evolving technologies and industry practices, actively engaging in development opportunities to refine your skills.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Weekend night shift

  • Comprehensive knowledge applied to performing skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs.

  • Works with relevant functions to select and utilize appropriate resources, tools, machinery, and specialty equipment.

  • Thoroughly understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment.

  • Acts as a formal resource leading and coordinating others. Quickly and effectively adapts to change in the manufacturing environment.

  • Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring, and testing instruments.

  • Performs and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.

  • Demonstrated technical skill set and capability to understand and resolve downtime instances in relation to CTP equipment, processes, and systems.

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
