The AppleCare Digital team is responsible for delivering world-class customer support experiences that help our customers use and love their products. Across the web, in third party platforms, and within Apple products, the team creates content, solutions, and platforms for our customers to find the support they need when and where they need it.

AppleCare Digital is looking for an experienced Content Designer who is enthusiastic about communication, media and design, with an eye for detail and a blend of creative and technical skills. This position will partner with writers, content developers, producers, strategists and creative leaders to both create and maintain the high quality of visuals used throughout AppleCare’s portfolio.

Description

You will work seamlessly as part of a dedicated team, wholly focused on creating best-in-class content in accordance with project constraints and parameters. You’ll participate on projects that demand both conceptual and functional thinking, partnering with cross-functional teams and leadership effectively to output solutions that actively help our customers self-solve and find discoveries along the way.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BFA degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, UI/UX Design, or other related field of study, with 8 years of applicable experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in motion design / graphic design, compositing, tracking and special effects, storyboarding, shooting and post, and all related production workflows

  • Extensive experience with Adobe Create Suite and Sketch

  • Expert storytelling skills through the lens of graphic design

  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a drive for perfection down to the last pixel

  • Strict adherence to and embracing of a style guide

  • Proven skills in visual communication and design

  • Flexibility and resilience through multiple feedback rounds

  • Passion for and experience with UI accurate content creation

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced workspace

  • Deep experience with industry standard media-based software

  • Excellence in file organization and folder management

  • Has a collaborative spirit, with an understanding that projects are commonly shared endeavors and that good ideas come from every direction

  • Robust design portfolio required

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years in a creative or technical role relating to Apple hardware, software and/or services. In-house Apple or other creative agency experience a plus

  • Capacity to offer articulate and actionable feedback

  • Familiarity with related disciplines, such as photography, videography, and UI/UX design

  • Understanding of production needs, expectations and turnaround

  • Possesses a keen ability to create work under minimal supervision

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of coding and template scripting

  • Video post-production and live action production experience strongly preferred but not required
