This role is part of Enterprise Digital, specifically the Enterprise Acquisition Product and Platform Team (EAPP). EAPP is centered around investing in the acquisition process and products to full growth and new accounts acquired across a range of products.
Overview
We are looking for an organized, strategic and inquisitive Digital Product Manager to join the US Consumer Application Experience Team. In this role you will help shape the strategy, execution, and performance of our acquisition experience across the US Customer Application Experience portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Understand the US Consumer Application and compliance landscape to drive core strategic outcomes for American Express
Define and execute on the US Consumer acquisition product vision, strategy, roadmap and identify growth opportunities
Lead key operational processes and integrations by partnering and managing relationships with collaborators in Product Management, Marketing, Technology, Risk, Servicing, Legal and Compliance
Support governance processes for key acquisition journeys & products
Assess value, develop use cases and prioritize features and user stories to ensure that work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with the product strategy
Partnering with UX design and research teams to drive customer centric solutions
Qualitative and quantitative customer research experience
Work closely with your partners and colleagues to create and maintain your products feature backlog
Craft high quality user stories with robust acceptance criteria
Take a leading role in the iteration planning and product release plans, creating clear sprint/increment goals
Take a leading role in delivery of features as they progress through the development lifecycle, mitigating impediments and tracking completion against sprint/increment goals
Develop a keen understanding of the customer experience, researching and analyzing user experience data and analytics to identify and quantify opportunity areas
Work closely with the technology team to develop robust architecture as well as ensure the best in class agile software development
Identify risks, challenges, opportunities and business integration needs
Preferred Qualifications
4 years’ experience as a product owner or manager within a user-centric, digital product development team
In depth knowledge of agile processes and principles, SaFE experience a plus
Experience of leading a program of digital user experience and Business focused experience Improvements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to build positive relationships, influence decisions and make things happen.
Understanding of service-oriented architecture and developing a full stack product
Experience driving UI/UX and how to work with personas, wireframes, process flows.
Understanding of Design Driven Development
Highly organized with a can-do attitude
An ability to deal with a fast pace and changing needs.
Bachelor’s degree
Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
Qualifications
Salary Range: $103,750.00 to $174,750.00 annually bonus benefits
