Apple’s Finance organization drives value for both the company and its shareholders, and Corporate FP&A is at the center of that work. As a Financial Analyst on the Balance Sheet and Cash Flow team, you will help build and refine the forecasts that support executive decision-making. You will partner across Apple to improve forecasting approaches, strengthen key assumptions, and deepen insight into the drivers of cash flow and balance sheet performance.
This role is ideal for a strong analytical thinker who can connect detailed financial data to broader business outcomes. We will teach the domain-specific context. You bring technical capability, intellectual curiosity, and sound judgment.
Description
Apple Finance has an opening for a Financial Analyst on the Corporate FP&A Balance Sheet and Cash Flow team, one of the most visible teams in the organization. The team is responsible for producing Apple’s monthly cash flow and balance sheet forecast. We consolidate inputs from functions across the company while also developing key assumptions ourselves, particularly around working capital and select balance sheet line items. A core part of the role is translating Profit & Loss performance into balance sheet and cash flow impacts, helping leadership understand the financial health of the business. We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly to senior audiences. Deep prior experience in cash flow or balance sheet forecasting is not required. What matters most is a strong technical foundation, curiosity, and the ability to turn data into insight.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience in finance, forecasting, planning, or analytical roles
BS or BA in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear conclusions
Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of high-quality execution
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets and financial models
Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools
Familiarity with Python and/or SQL
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present to senior audiences
Intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn new financial domains
