We are looking for an organized, flexible Administrative Assistant who excels in teamwork and is a resourceful, dedicated problem solver. The ideal candidate works autonomously, takes initiative, has a proactive attitude, and the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. This individual will support the team’s day-to-day needs, manage a director’s calendar, space and conference rooms, as well as organize a variety of events throughout the year.
Description
In this role, you will provide administrative and calendar support to a director and their software engineering team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to multitask while working in an innovative, change-oriented environment. You are self-motivated, proactive, team oriented and maintain a strong emphasis on organization with unwavering attention to detail.
Key responsibilities will range from daily calendar management, expense report submission, facilities requests, space planning to addressing a wide variety of day-to-day needs. You will also help to plan and organize a variety of events throughout the year. The candidate will represent Apple in high-level contacts both internally and externally requiring significant level of tact, discretion, and confidentiality. You exercise good judgment, have great communication skills as you own and complete task/projects independently with minimal direction.
Minimum Qualifications
3-5+ years experience providing administrative support to directors or executives and their teams, preferably in a high tech environment
Experience managing highly complex calendars, with the ability to foresee and resolve scheduling conflicts proactively.
Experience planning, managing, and executing events.
Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
AA or BS degree preferred
Proficient in Mac OS: Keynote, Pages, Numbers, Calendar
Ability to work autonomously on assignments and handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion, with the flexibility to adjust priorities on short notice.
Professional and calm under pressure, with the ability to switch gears at a moment’s notice
Proven track record of meeting deadlines, attention to detail, and taking initiative to make confident and well-informed decisions.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $35.98 and $63.96/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
