The Worldwide Procurement Finance group creates and provides critical analytical support for cost data, including standard costs, forecasted costs, and actual costs for Apple. This position, reporting to the Senior Manager of Commodity Financial Management within Worldwide Finance Procurement, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to this vital function.

Strategic Leadership: Leads a team of 3+ Financial Analysts within Procurement Finance, managing high-impact processes that underpin Apple’s global product costing. Plays a key role in ensuring the financial integrity and accuracy of product-related cost data, supporting informed decision-making across the organization.

Cross-Functional Business Partnership: Acts as a trusted finance partner to stakeholders across Apple, driving the execution of future-state forecasting and month-end close processes. Ensures the accuracy and completeness of data related to component costs, finished goods receipts, bills of materials (BOMs), billing, and service units — all critical to Apple’s supply chain and product profitability.

Data Integrity & Problem Solving: Leads cross-functional efforts to proactively identify and resolve data quality issues, close reporting gaps, and implement scalable solutions. Ensures financial data integrity across systems to support reliable reporting and compliance.
Process Improvement & Innovation: Partners with leadership to champion automation and process improvement initiatives, enhancing forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and financial controls. Provides ad hoc analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decisions.

Project Leadership: Drives key initiatives as a business lead and subject matter expert, applying deep financial and operational expertise to deliver measurable impact.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, with a strong preference for Operations and Supply Chain Management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other quantitative field.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of leveraging data to drive informed business decisions.

  • Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expert business partnering skills with a proven ability to influence decision-making across functional areas.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and a proven track record of delivering insights that shape key business decisions.

  • Experience leading and/or contributing to process improvements, automation initiatives, or system enhancements.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience with SAP, FileMaker, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is highly desirable.

  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant advanced degree or professional certification.
