The People Operations Specialist Team will have the unique opportunity to help define our ways of working within the HRIS and CRM tools. In this role, you will strategize how to improve and continue to innovate down to the details that produce a world class experience.

The Global Operations Specialists are a highly collaborative and cross-functional team who drive team readiness, partner with program owners, and assist the People Operations team on meeting a variety of unique employee needs. You’ll be the expert in the organization’s work authorization processes, procedures and tools. You will track program performance and provide relevant insights to program leaders to drive improvements to the employee experience.

Responsibilities may include:

Point of escalation for the day to day work authorization cases completed by vendors and partners to ensure delivery service to Apple’s exacting standards

Consult on right to work/work authorization processes, leading optimization and harmonization across the globe

Strong partner with cross collaboration within the People Operations organization; to ensure team readiness for the implementation of global program offerings in alignment with key events throughout the year

Conduct audits, generate comprehensive reports, and implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with right-to-work and work authorization regulations

Leaning in to systems and tools testing, and business requirements, using this knowledge to drive a streamlined, automated approach to People Operations execution of work

Focus on knowledgeable management systems, providing support to optimize and/ harmonize global processes

Complete audits and quality check on work authorization cases and work authorization data in HRIS

Partner with Enablement & Readiness to ensure team readiness for the implementation of global program offerings in alignment with key events throughout the year.

Lead engagement with internal support partners and key stakeholder teams to ensure our knowledge management systems are current and effective.

Work closely in a team environment with the ability to partner with diverse teams and across multiple Apple locations.

Participating as a tester, gathering system and business requirements, and educating the People Operations Team on new ways of working

Provide regular analysis of regional People Operations activities within the team and across other business partners.

Review web based content for accuracy with responsibility for submitting updates and influencing improvements.

Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with global team and key cross-functional collaborators internally.

Lead and coordinate business reviews with global program owners while aligning on commitments to follow-up actions.

Embracing a variety of internal and external software applications with the ability to learn new tools quickly.

Aligning business needs and regulatory requirements to manage employee data and documents.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years proven experience in Human Resources working across multiple services such as Policies, Recruiting, Compensation, Immigration etc.

  • Ability to work independently, complete multiple tasks simultaneously, and cut through ambiguity

  • Unrivaled attention to detail and consistent delivery of the highest quality of work

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Skilled at effectively managing and prioritizing escalations/ business critical situations to efficiently troubleshoot and recommend proper resolution

  • Ability to maintain the highest regulatory and compliance standards in handling employee records

  • Exceptional problem solving, time management, priority setting, and organizational skills

  • Ability to approach problems flexibly and provide recommended solutions

  • Demonstrable track record of driving process improvements and an insatiable desire to provide outstanding customer service

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to exercise tact and discretion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in U.S. work authorizations (Form I-9) and preferred knowledge of Americas (US, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil) immigration policies

  • Experience with global immigration requirements and right to work policies in EMEA/APAC countries

  • Experience with SilkRoad, Workday, ServiceNow or other similar technology
