Summary

Imagine what you could do here! The people here at Apple don’t just create products — they build the kind of wonder that’s revolutionized entire industries. It’s the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. At Apple, inclusion is a shared responsibility, and we work together to foster a culture where everyone belongs and is inspired to do their best work.

The Apple Retail Business Planning and Program Management team sits at the center of Retail, supporting the Retail Leadership Team. This team is responsible for connecting the strategies and plans across the teams, and for driving key initiatives forward.

We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic Retail Business Planning Analyst responsible for transforming complex business and financial data into clear, compelling executive-level presentations (e.g., Board of Directors, Fiscal Year Plans) and reports. Adept at 'stitching' disparate information into a cohesive strategic narrative to guide leadership decision-making.

Description

This role requires supporting the organization’s priorities, ensuring alignment across teams, driving critical initiatives, and supporting the Retail Business Planning, Strategy, & Operations Director in decision-making processes. The Analyst will work closely with cross-functional partners to stitch together executive level reports and presentations. The ideal candidate for this high-stakes work is organized, detail-oriented, strategic, and possesses great communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in strategy, finance, or business development role in a Retail centric environment; or 5+ years related experience with a strategy consulting firm or investment bank

  • Excellent program management skills, with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate meetings with partners across multiple functions in an organization

  • Outstanding analytical skills and experience in collecting, analyzing, and tracking key business data

  • Relentless focus on details, accuracy, and quality

  • Experience managing relationships and working cross-functionally across large global organizations

  • Proven ability to interact effectively and diplomatically with senior leadership

  • Experience creating and delivering compelling presentations

  • Excellent Keynote / Powerpoint and Excel skills

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exceptional influencer that knows how to connect the dots at the project, team, and organizational levels

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with confidence and poise presenting to management

  • A self-starter who is comfortable working independently in a fast paced, changing environment

  • Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload, while demonstrating Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities

  • MBA a plus
