Description
In the role of Full-Stack Engineer, you will play an integral part in Marcom’s internal tools, by troubleshooting and resolving issues surrounding performance, response times, capacity, and system limitations. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and modifying documentation corresponding to the web applications as well as their integrations. An ideal candidate will collaborate with internal business partners, internal technology resources (database, system, networking), and external vendors.
This role requires both front-end (GUI) and back-end development experience using the Ruby on Rails framework for web app development.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience with Ruby on Rails framework and Ruby as a core language (4 years minimum).
Knowledge of basic frontend dev (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Stimulus JS, etc.).
Experience working on projects interacting with users or a development team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
Strong desire to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple releases a week.
Exposure to AWS and DevOps.
Experience using Ansible (or similar IaC with 2+ years of experience).
Understanding of security best practices and vulnerabilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/technical degree
