The Store Development Coordinator will provide a broad range of administrative and operational support store development projects.

This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Northbrook, IL office with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

A day in the life as a Store Development Coordinator...

  • Provide assistance to the Executive in calendar management, vacation requests, and payroll submissions as well as scheduling meetings and administering expense reports

  • Arrange and coordinate the logistics of complex domestic and international travel plans, and prepare detailed itineraries to assure accuracy

  • Structure and organize the activities and workload of the leader(s) to facilitate efficient operations. Serve as first point of contact for department: manage email correspondence, screen telephone calls, handle requests for information and prioritize all requests

  • Assist in overall contract management, including but not limited to NEIS, Insite, Engie and Projectmates

  • Assist with managing service providers, including new vendor submissions, closing out work orders and COI expiration

  • Administer the processing of all new facilities vendor packages, insurance certificate collections, and accounts payable initiation. Grant, manage and track access to certain service providers and inspections

  • Order and maintain various department plotters, printers, and supplies. Coordinate receiving, placement and disposal of franchise samples

  • Package architectural sample materials for overseas shipping and complete all customs pro forma invoicing

  • Update the corporate headquarters seating chart

  • Possess a complete understanding of applicable company systems, policies and procedures

  • Results Oriented - Identify and respond to any financial or budgeting related issues. Provide assistance in annual budget assembly, vendor payment inquiries and ongoing invoice review. Focus on promoting sales as they pertain to, or are driven by your position

  • Communication - Communicate effectively and efficiently with all company associates and business contacts

  • Teamwork - Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates

  • Customer Service (Internal and External) - Support and model excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward the job and the company to both internal and external customers in all forms of communication. Ensure all customers are provided gracious, quick and efficient service

    We’d love to hear from you if you have…

  • 3 years previous experi ence in relevant/fields/occupations (Administrative, Architecture, Facilities/Property Management) or at Crate and Barrel facilities

  • Proven ability to handle fast-paced work environment

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to prioritize to meet deadline

  • Thorough working knowledge of Google Office Suite

Minimum Starting Rate: $24.00 Hourly

Up to: $31.00 Hourly

Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
