Description
As a prototyping engineer you will be responsible for emulating a complex SOC & are expected to:
Work closely with the team, review specifications, develop prototyping plans and specifications.
Work closely with design & micro-architecture teams to understand the functional & performance goals of the design.
Work on Synthesis / Place & Route, timing optimization, develop plans for custom hardware.
Work independently & manage deliverables to align with project goals plus support cross-functional engineering efforts.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS (EE or CS) required and 0 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of fundamental CPU & SOC architecture/design.
Strengths in digital logic design, Verilog, SystemVerilog, test-benches, simulation and debug.
Experience in scripting/programming is desired - Unix, Python, C/C++, etc.
Experience with FPGA is a plus.
Hardware/System design, tools, debug, lab experience are a plus.
Strong analytical skills, creative attitude and enthusiastic team player.
Excellent communication skills and demonstrate the desire to take on diverse challenges.
