We are actively seeking a Data Center Critical Facilities Technician who is committed to working in a critical environment that values continuous improvement and embraces change!

Description

As part of Apple’s Data Center Operations team—a powerhouse of innovation and diligence—you’ll take pride in delivering top-tier services within our critical environments, ensuring seamless support for our customers. Your role will be pivotal in managing and optimizing critical infrastructure, tackling complex challenges with a problem-solver approach, and driving key projects that improves operational efficiency and scalability. You'll collaborate with multi-functional teams to pioneer innovative processes aligned with Apple’s dedication to excellence and sustainability. Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in the maintenance and operation of critical infrastructure systems.

• Physical ability to perform tasks that require sitting, standing, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 75 lbs.

• Capability to work in varying temperature environments (60°F to 110°F) and follow OSHA work-rest cycles.

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including 8, 10, and 12-hour day and graveyard shifts, with a readiness for overtime as decided by business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid and practical understanding of hyperscale electrical and mechanical systems.

• Experience with inspecting, supervising, and swiftly resolving critical equipment malfunctions.

• 7+ years of hands on experience in maintenance and operation of critical infrastructure systems.

• In-depth knowledge of NFPA 70E and OSHA regulations specifically related to data center environments.

• Industry certifications such as Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) or similar are a plus.
