Apple TV’s Communications and Publicity team is seeking an accomplished, strategic, and resourceful leader to join us as a Senior Manager, PR Operations and Events. This role is part of a pivotal team that supports Apple TV’s expanding portfolio of original shows, movies, and documentaries crafted by the world’s most innovative storytellers.

Description

This role leads a team and spearheads global publicity and awards events, managing strategies from concept to seamless execution. Leadership responsibilities encompass budget management, cross-functional collaboration on high-profile events, strategic talent relations, and comprehensive operations oversight. The role involves close collaboration with production teams, talent representatives, and internal/external partners to define and achieve strategic objectives, identifying opportunities to elevate Apple TV's global presence. Meticulous attention to detail, strong customer engagement insights, and the ability to translate these insights into impactful press and awards moments are essential to this position.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years of leadership management experience in publicity, event management and/or production, with a focus on global press and awards events, operations, finance, and talent relations.

  • Extensive experience in operations, event management, or publicity within the entertainment industry (film/TV studios, networks, streaming platforms, or PR agencies).

  • Global production agency, vendors, and strategic partner oversight, with well-established entertainment industry relationships.

  • Expertise in financial management, including budget development, cost forecasting, financial tracking, and procurement processes.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

  • Manages complex, high-profile international events with strategic foresight and operational excellence.

  • Proven success developing and executing innovative launch strategies and momentum-building programs.

  • Established industry network with a history of cultivating strategic partnerships.

  • Collaborative leader with the ability to influence and drive results across diverse teams.

  • Expertise in operational leadership, from strategy development to flawless execution.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.

  • Self-motivated, strategic problem solver.

  • In-depth understanding of evolving industry trends in television and film.

  • Effectively deploys resources and builds cross-functional partnerships.

  • Visionary and proactive with a strategic approach, capable of managing multiple high-stakes projects.

  • Outstanding attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
