The Finance & Global Supply Management Technology (FGT) organization partners with the chief product owners in Controllership, Corporate Planning, Global Treasury, Global Tax, and Global Supply Management to accelerate our Finance platform modernization journey, while delivering new business capabilities focused on finance data management, regulatory compliance, and advanced analytics.

We are seeking a Director, Software Engineering to play a pivotal role in advancing the Finance AI transformation agenda, while supporting Treasury platform modernization and ensuring continuity of 2052a regulatory delivery.

As a senior technology leader, you will lead multiple engineering teams in a global mirror delivery model, drive modern engineering practices, and embed AI-enabled software development to significantly enhance productivity, quality, and speed of delivery. You will be a hands-on engineering leader with deep technical credibility, capable of operating at both architecture depth and enterprise scale, while shaping the future of engineering through AI-assisted development practices.

The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of AI, data, and platform engineering, shaping how AI is integrated into Finance and Treasury systems, while maintaining strong engineering discipline in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Finance AI Transformation • Advance Finance AI “big bets” through hands-on engineering leadership.• Drive adoption of AI tools and agent-based workflows within core development processes.• Integrate AI capabilities directly into Finance platforms to improve delivery speed and efficiency.

  • Treasury Platform Modernization• Support modernization of Treasury platforms with a focus on: scalability and resilience, data quality and integrity, system simplification and maintainability.• Ensure AI enablement is built into platform evolution.• Partner with Treasury and Finance stakeholders to align platform capabilities with business needs.

  • 2052a Regulatory Continuity• Ensure stable and reliable delivery of FR 2052a regulatory reporting. • Maintain strong controls, governance, and audit readiness during platform and process changes. • Balance transformation efforts with regulatory obligations and risk management.

  • Engineering Leadership & Execution• Lead and develop high-performing engineering teams across a global delivery model. • Provide hands-on technical leadership, including architecture direction and critical design decisions. • Establish clear ownership, accountability, and delivery discipline across initiatives. • Ensure consistent execution across teams while navigating a complex, matrixed environment.

  • Platform & Engineering Practices• Drive adoption of modern engineering practices.• Improve end-to-end delivery efficiency through automation and tooling. • Define and track key engineering metrics to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery.

  • Stakeholder Alignment• Partner with Finance, Treasury, and Technology stakeholders to align priorities and execution. • Translate complex technical approaches into clear business outcomes. • Ensure strong coordination across global teams and leadership stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Significant experience leading large-scale software engineering teams and platforms.

  • Proven ability to operate as a hands-on technical leader at scale.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise platforms in regulated environments.

  • Strong expertise in:• Modern software development and system design• Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) • Distributed systems and microservices architectures • DevOps practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containerization

  • Experience working with or implementing AI-assisted development tools and workflows.

  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence at senior levels.

  • Experience driving AI adoption within engineering workflows or enterprise platforms.

  • Background in Finance Technology, Treasury systems, or regulatory reporting (e.g., 2052a).

  • Experience leading global or mirror delivery teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to introduce new capabilities and scale them across organizations.
