Description
As a Site Services Supervisor, you'll lead a team of data center technicians responsible for the hands-on support, maintenance, and deployment of hardware infrastructure that keeps Apple's operations running around the clock. Day to day, you'll oversee team performance, ensure your team has the staffing, tools, and materials they need to execute, and hold the bar on quality and delivery standards. You'll collaborate closely with peer leaders and cross-functional teams to stay aligned on priorities, and you'll play an active role in developing your technicians — setting the example, closing skill gaps, and building a team that's ready for whatever comes next. This role rewards leaders who communicate clearly, adapt quickly, and find energy in a fast-paced environment where the work genuinely matters.
Minimum Qualifications
Previous experience leading teams, projects, or operational functions in a fast-paced environment
3+ years of experience working in a data center, IT infrastructure, or equivalent technical operations environment
Comfortable working extended shifts in a data center environment, including temperatures ranging from 79°F to 105°F+ Ability to safely work at heights using step ladders, podium platforms, and personnel lifts in accordance with safety protocols
Ability to safely operate hand-held tools including electric drills, safety cutters, and fiber testing equipment
Ability to support on-call duties and after-hours response in a 24x7 operational environment
Preferred Qualifications
Proven leadership experience supervising teams in a data center, IT infrastructure, or mission critical operations environment
Working knowledge of networked IT hardware, operating systems, network protocols, and the ability to run diagnostics and firmware updates
Experience partnering with leadership on staffing, budgets, tools, and materials to keep operations running at full capacity
Track record of identifying process gaps and driving improvements to established procedures and standards
High emotional intelligence with strong communication skills, sound decision making, and a collaborative approach to leadership
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous, global environment with the ability to align and influence across multiple teams and functions
