Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Boulder, Colorado. Developing automation scripts for testing iOS and MacOS devices. Developing new scripts to perform testing using new technology. Setting up the automated pipeline for scheduling jobs. Executing and recording results. Testing modules manually if needed. Communicating and leveraging automation frameworks across other teams. Working closely with manual QA engineers to assist with running tests as well as evaluating potential areas for automation. Working with partner teams to deploy automated test solutions into their preflight suites. Responsible for the Team's lab and devices. Write automation coding for testing Apple products. Hardware and software testing using Xcode, python, and Swift for Apple products. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $122,800 - $185,000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

  • Education and/or experience must include each of the following skills:

  • Programming in Swift and Python in Xcode to develop test automation code and test lab infrastructure tools.

  • Utilizing XCTest framework to deploy, execute, and monitor test results.

  • Leveraging XCUI framework to build UI automation for Vision Pro applications.

  • Utilizing Pytest and PIP frameworks to manage test libraries and packages.

  • Utilizing Splunk for storage and analysis of test data.

  • Utilizing Git for source code management.

  • Testing software system functionality across iOS, MacOS and Vision Pro.

  • Experience in stress testing, preflight testing, smoke testing, regression testing, and integration testing.
