Description

We’re looking to for a Global Data Champion Manager supporting the Record-to-Report (R2R) function.
Reporting to the R2R GPO, this new position was created to manage the global team of Data Champions. Through close partnership with GBS FDT, GPO and various R2R key functions, the role will be responsible for leading a team responsible for the design and implementation of streamlined, scalable and automated R2R reporting, workbooks and analytics, essential to the operational excellence of R2R day-to-day activities

The team will drive data initiatives that would help to 1) reduce human errors, data gaps, potential financial statement risks and tax exposure 2) reduce manual “mechanical” work and free up more time for R2R team to focus on higher value activities and 3) provide real-time compliance analytics and KPIs for timely visibility and actionable insight of compliance risks, issues and strategic decision support.

This position will also play a key leadership role in the training and development of the Data Champions on the team and the data wizard community across the R2R organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in a US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) environment Experience in a public company

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
