Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Large scale computer vision /machine learning algorithm execution and evaluation pipeline implementation and optimization, including data ingestion, metric generation, and breakdown. Implement large scale data evaluation result ingestion to AWS based server. Implement and optimize the algorithm performance metric generation automation process. Implement and optimize the algorithm performance breakdown automation process. Perform Computer vision /machine learning algorithm on device result deep dive, failure analysis and report. Find machine leaning algorithm failure patterns with on device results to identify algorithm performance gaps. Associate failure patterns with user experience to help enhance the process of determining product shipping quality. Computer vision /machine learning algorithm on device automation pipeline bring up and optimization. New algorithm failure analysis tool development, including algorithm dashboard development, and video computer vision algorithm visualization. Develop web/server-based algorithm performance dashboard to help track algorithm performance trajectory. Develop new web/server-based failure analysis tool. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,365.00 - $220,900.00/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Experience and/or education must include:
Utilizing Machine learning and computer vision knowledge to design algorithm evaluation
Utilizing Spark to develop data pipeline for algorithm benchmark to monitor different computer vision models’ impacts
Utilizing data visualization tool to monitor and analyze algorithm performance for large scale data
Utilizing Jenkins or CI system to automate the evaluation process for computer vision algorithms to speed up the model deployment cycle
Utilizing python (pandas, SciPy, scikit, TensorFlow) and SQL for data mining, wiring database queries, partitioning data and implementing metric to understand algorithm performance
Using statistic concept analysis data to extract insights
Utilizing Machine learning knowledge to design and implement automatic failure analysis
