Description

Apple's Carrier & Standards team is seeking a talented, highly motivated, and self-driven program manager to work across layers on cutting edge wireless technologies.
The position involves overseeing large-scale engineering projects, developing comprehensive project plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing multiple partners across different countries, and driving innovation that significantly impacts the industry.
This position is responsible for technical partner management and certification of wireless devices across various wireless technologies. You will work with a team of highly skilled project managers, test engineers, and developers. You will be the key interface between external teams and partner test labs to Apple’s internal test and development teams. You will be driving large-scale comprehensive project plans in a fast paced environment, and managing multiple partners across the globe.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronics/Communications Engineering or equivalent major.
Minimum 5-10 years hands-on experience in wireless development/system engineering/certification of devices.
A successful track-record or demonstrated aptitude as an Engineering Program Manager and managing large-scale complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Familiar with industry/regulatory certification and specifications for type approval.
Preferred Qualifications
Passion for diving into hard problems and guiding others to build novel solutions.
Experience collaborating and providing feedback on technical architecture design while defining the long-term technical strategy.
Strong communications skills and experience in partner management.
Experience with wireless standards (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Thread, 3GPP, NFC).
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
