We are seeking an enthusiastic Design Producer to support the Ad Platforms/Business Tools Design team with the enhancement and creation of tools that support businesses of all sizes. These tools support businesses with operational and advertising services, along with overall integration into the Apple ecosystem to succeed in their marketplace. The ideal candidate will have a passion for taking on complex problems while driving innovative work and processes. This person will collaborate with the Design Manager and other Producers to provide overall team and project leadership. This role will work closely with the design team and cross-functional partners to define project requirements, clarify design goals, lead design reviews, and ensure a quality release of the final product.
Description
Design has always been at the heart of Apple and the work that we do. The Design Producer will play a big part in upholding these values and driving innovation and creativity through our design work. We strive for a strong eye and passion for design with strong attention to detail, being resourceful, adaptable, creative, and results-oriented with high energy and a positive outlook. This is a fast-paced team focused on complex design challenges. This position works closely with many other teams and will be an advocate for user experience. Responsibilities include managing cross-functional relationships and partnerships while representing the design team. The Design Producer will lead design brainstorms and workshops, run meetings, and design reviews, while gathering key ideas, decisions, issues, and action items in meeting notes. They will track and report project health on a weekly basis, including communicating status and impending or projected results. The role also involves negotiating priorities for the design team given limited resources and an ambitious schedule, ensuring the timely handoff of design specs to engineering, and reviewing builds to maintain design integrity during implementation. Additionally, the Design Producer will constantly improve processes and communications in an ever-changing, fast-paced working environment.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years as a producer in software design (in-house or digital creative agency experience preferred)
Experience in consumer software development and product lifecycles
Experience leading and driving consumer-facing design initiatives
Thorough understanding of UX/UI ideation, execution, and delivery processes
Thorough understanding of desktop and native mobile design best practices
Proven ability to meet deadlines and drive results while juggling many projects and priorities
Able to integrate design, business/product, marketing, engineering and stakeholder teams to clarify project requirements, define design goals and strategy, execution, and delivery processes.
Keen ability to grasp complexity quickly, focus on key issues, while adapting to constant change
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
