We are seeking an exceptional engineering manager to lead our engineering efforts in the Siri platform. As Apple continues to ship more devices, providing a consistent, responsive, and high-performance experience is critical for our users. Description

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Device Selection team, which builds and scales the foundation that determines which Siri devices interact with the user and how their requests are routed and driven across iOS, tvOS and watchOS devices in our ecosystem. This team’s work is central to delivering seamless, intelligent, and performant user experiences across a wide range of devices.

As the manager of the team, you will drive technical direction, grow and mentor engineers, and partner closely with product, architecture, and cross-functional platform teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of deep technical systems challenges and people leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven experience building and scaling on-device platform or frameworks.

• Experience building platform/frameworks utilizing solid networking stack is a huge plus

• Strong understanding of latency, reliability, and performance tradeoffs in system design.

• Track record of managing technical roadmaps and delivering complex cross-functional projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in an engineering management role.

• Excellent people leadership skills, with experience mentoring and growing engineers.

• Strong communication skills; able to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
