Here on the Apple Store Online team, we are responsible for Apple’s largest store. Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. As a key member of the Worldwide Retail Customer Segments team, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and driving the strategic plans for key customer cohorts including Education, Small and Medium-sized Businesses, and Refurbished. You will define key problem statements, identify opportunities, and recommend revenue-driving initiatives based on market analysis and insights.

Description

As the WW Retail Commercial Manager for Education, SMB, and Refurbished, you will lead the development and execution of commercial growths plan for Apple Retail (Online and Stores). Success in this position requires in depth market analysis, strategic thinking, strong collaboration across teams, and the ability to translate insights into innovative growth initiatives and results.

Responsibilities:
Formulate Retail’s commercial strategy for Education (College Students), SMB, and Refurbished using clear data driven inputs and superior ability to create clearly articulated plans.
Develop high-impact initiatives and commercial plans to implement the strategy for the Education/SMB/Refurbished businesses, including affordability strategy and formulation of new value propositions
Identify customer trends and customer behavior to recommend new commercial programs and campaigns.
Acquire Leadership approvals for highly complex and innovative initiatives through influencing senior stakeholders going from high level strategic vision to detailed queries.
Create annual commercial plans that align with the overall strategy and align large cross-functional teams.
Lead cross-functionally to devise new strategy and go-to-market plans leading the relationship with Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, Product Management, Legal, Operations and Geo teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience with expert knowledge of the Retail industry, Commerce, and/or Financial Services.

  • Ability to derive logically thought through actions using clear and ambiguous data and inputs.

  • Proven track record in strategy or customer experience functions, successfully developing and leading business initiatives that address clear long-term objectives.

  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.

  • A strong leader with sound judgment, capable of building consensus around solutions and possessing exceptional communication skills that resonate at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to craft compelling presentations that influence leadership effectively through storytelling.

  • Proven track record of prioritizing, planning, and successfully executing strategies, programs, and projects.

  • Skilled at positively influencing individuals across all functional areas, building relationships, and serving as a key point of contact and subject matter expert.
