American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the Global leader in the Commercial Payments Solutions space and continues to be an exciting and fast-growing business. To maintain this success, the organization must accelerate sales and drive profitable charge volume growth. The Global Sales Enablement, Pricing & Transformation (SPT) team within GCS is instrumental in ensuring achievement of these objectives. The Training Analyst position offers you the opportunity to be part of this multifaceted organization and help GCS navigate towards growth.

This role will report to the Senior Business Conduct Training Manager within our Sales Enablement organization.

As a Business Conduct Training Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in preparing our customer facing colleagues for compliant interactions with our customers. You will use data to craft training recommendations, facilitate training to variety of sales teams, and measure the effectiveness of our learning initiatives.

In the end, you will educate and empower colleagues with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and adhere to business conduct related regulatory requirements and GCS policies, promoting a culture of integrity and ensuring we do things the right way.

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Build effective working relationships with sales leaders, partner teams, and broader collaborators

  • Develop and deliver compliance training programs to colleagues, ensuring they understand and can adhere to relevant regulations and policies

  • Create engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations and quizzes to promote effective learning

  • Conduct training sessions both in person and virtually, catering to different learning styles and ensuring maximum participation and comprehension

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, making improvements as necessary

  • Maintain records of training participation in the Learning Management System

  • Collaborate with partner teams to ensure consistent and effective communication of compliance related information

  • Stay up to date on relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies

  • Foster a positive learning environment and cultivate a sense of responsibility and accountability towards compliance among colleagues

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with various training delivery methods, including in-person sessions, webinars, and blended learning approaches

  • Understanding of adult learning principles and effective methods of engaging adult learners

  • Relationship building skills to communicate and influence at all levels, both written and verbal

  • Analytical skills and ability to synthesize data from multiple sources, derive insights, and formulate recommendations

  • Ability to act with diplomacy and integrity with handling of confidential and sensitive issues in an appropriate manner

  • Ability to meet deadlines and excel in a sophisticated, fast paced, multi-team environment with constantly evolving business demands

  • Ability to come into the office minimum 3 days a week

  • Experience in a highly regulated industry

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Learning Design and Technology, or similar

Qualifications

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually bonus benefits
